...then there is a way in diswaiting.
Dust some yellow sand covers,
here uncover bare bedding.
...suffusing red planes, blushed dunes,
under incidentally quilted blanket
wet as arid curves, as sounds.
...in a persistent pavement,
in a solemn unsuited promise,
some written words erase
some letters drip and soak
unto a perfuse miracle,
a dislocated split,
a letting go of...

Where have you been, this unending time?
Have you gone on a train, to a place far away,
Where the mountains sing and the sycamores sway?
Have you taken a boat to an island alone,
Where you sit and you think as you toss a cool stone?
Have you leaped on a plane to see new skies,
Where you watch shining stars with tired, worn eyes?
Have you just walked along roads with rotting old signs,
Where the locals count up your hard liquor fines?

Miguel gets off the bus at your stop. So he knows at least as much as you know about him, a deadly symmetry. You could escape now and take that ride to Puebla or in any direction that gas and tires could outpace Mount Popo’s disapproval. You could, but you won’t. If he truly lives up to the reputation of a government killer, he’ll murder Dona Lupe just for spite. You could shoot him now or shout for somebody to stop him, but you won’t throw yourself into the hands of the law, not even for your landlady. And so, you follow him out into the street.
You catch up to him inside the colonial house. He fires first and
I wanted to try something new and have a little fun. Especially since the only writing I've been doing has been papers for class, and I needed a creative outlet.

My stupid paper.....It's only three pages....and yet...I am so done!! Hence no writing here for awhile....It's my fourth paper this week...

I... personally like this 
the inspiration is my sort of inspiration 
I normally don't like visual effects in poetry but here they suited well and I liked the concise message and the ending with the command thee and the 'woman' part though I hope that is more a subtle reference to mockery - the title itself than to a feminist approach 
All in all a good work
